Proprietary Computerization
Our fully integrated Computer systems were developed in-house by programmers experienced with all phases of pipe fabrication. These systems have been in operation for over ten years and undergoes continuous updating.
- Specification driven ACORN© systems are used to produce shop drawings which along with out experienced Engineering staff ensures accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
- Material requirements and Producion Tracking Data is extracted directly from computerized drawing files eliminating the possibility of input errors and decreasing turnaround times. Daily Production Reports are easily accessible.
- Our Purchasing staff uses integrated order and inventory control systems to ensure fast, accurate, and cost effective handling of material requirements.
- Each Shop Spool sheet contains an appropriate area for complete documentation, if required. Recording of heat codes of all piping components, weld mapping, welder identification, welding process used, and various NDE testing. (ie. Radiographic Examination, Liquid Penetrant, Brinell Hardness, Hydrostatic testing and Ultrasonic testing.)
- Spool status tracking systems provide detailed history data throughout the entire production cycle (engineering through shipment) using bar code scanners. Coming Soon - Data is published to the net daily for client viewing and download.
- Material/Labor price sheet and discount data bases allow automatic, accurate pricing of invoices. Our Estimating Department uses these same systems to prepare fast, accurate quotations.
- Computerized QC systems are used in tracking all NDE requirements, welder qualification and performance.
- Document control systems ensures accurate
communications and record keeping.
